Locality: Brattekleiv Quarry, Lauvland, Evje og Hornnes, Aust-Agder, Norway

Note: The mineral species Columbite-(Fe) is not listed in our database for this locality. This specimen may be misidentified or the mindat list of minerals at this locality may be incomplete.

3,5 cm ferrocolumbite in a feldspar matrix. The crystal is not complete, but the broken face shows an intergrowth between ferrocolumbite and samarskite. This is shown in the child photo. This also shows a yellow beryl crystal.
