Locality: Valenciana Mine, Guanajuato, Mun. de Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico

Large plate of sharp, white orthoclase (adularia) variety valencianite crystals. Minor colorless quartz crystals coat some surfaces. No damage. From the well known Lechner collection (Austrian), see article in Min. rec., Nov.-Dec., 1991, pp. 433-438. Ex. Lechner collection #4352 (ca. 1900, Austria). Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x7x2.5 cm. Size of individual crystals: 5-15 mm.
