Hematite (Var: Iron Rose)

Locality: Dasoto, Kato Nevrokopi basin, Dráma Prefecture, Macedonia Department, Greece

A very nice specimen -the largest found so far- , of a thick iron rose of hematite. From the alpine type fissures of the Kato Nevrokopi basin. Fine hexagonal form, no damage.

Size: 4.5x4.2x3cm (Miniature)
