Ferberite, Muscovite

Locality: Yaogangxian Mine, Yaogangxian W-Sn ore field, Yizhang Co., Chenzhou Prefecture, Hunan Province, China

6.1 x 5.7 x 2.2 cm. Metallic-bright, dark gray, parallel-growth ferberite crystals. The sharp, undamaged and striated blades are nicely accented by two clusters of pearly, brown muscovite crystals. Ex. Ryan Bowling Collection.
