Locality: Mooralla, Southern Grampians Shire, Victoria, Australia
Its good fun looking inside quartz crystals. This is a photo of a gas bubble inside a (quite nice) smoky quartz crystal, and it looks like there is a pair of eyes looking back at you (ok, so I've got a good imagination!). This bubble moves around 4mm. FOV 2mm.
