Locality: Defiance Mine, Costello Mine group (Costello claims), Gleeson, Turquoise District (Courtland-Gleeson District), Dragoon Mts, Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

9.5 x 7.9 x 4.9 cm. A classic Defiance Mine wulfenite specimen. A rich jumble of highly lustrous, tabular, butterscotch-colored wulfenite crystals solidly covers the gossan matrix on this highly representative and showy specimen from this famous locale. Pieces of this quality were collected in the 1950s and 60s. Ex. Dave Stoudt Collection.
