Beryl (Var: Emerald)

Locality: Mun. de Muzo, Vasquez-Yacopí Mining District, Boyacá Department, Colombia

5.4 x 1.1 x 0.9 cm. This tall, translucent crystal is perfectly formed, not repaired, and simply a beautiful example of a Colombian emerald.
