A beautiful specimen from the famed PC Mine, a cluster of tourmalinated quartz crystals with free-standing tourmaline "needles" between the quartz crystals. Perhaps the best example of this occurence from this mine ever found; measuring 7.8 x 6.0 x 5.0 cm. overall. The material from this pocket was very difficult to clean without damaging or removing all the fine tourmaline needles; I had to develop a process that preserved them all, despite their fragility. Self-collected. Photo by Mike Gobla.
