A cluster of sub-parallel hematite crystals associated with smoky quartz, from a miarolitic cavity found high on a cliff face in the Devil's Den area (lower Benedict Creek). This pocket had been already collected when I climbed up to inspect it, but the individuals left several exceptional specimens behind! This one measures 2.9 x 2.3 x 2.0 cm. overall; self-collected.
