Locality: Benedict Creek area (Devil's Den), Sawtooth Batholith/Sawtooth Mts, Boise Co., Idaho, USA

A hematite "rosette" from a miarolitic cavity found high on a cliff face, above a huge permanent snowfield, in the Devil's Den area (Lower Benedict Creek), Boise County, Idaho. Size: 1.7 x 1.5 x 0.7 cm.; self-collected.
