Feldspar Group, Magnetite : Fe2+Fe3+2O4, Zircon : Zr[SiO4]

Locality: I-80 roadcut, Mt Arlington, Morris Co., New Jersey, USA
In view is a 2"x2" broken piece of a granitic rock, containing a gray feldspar, magnetite (upper right corner) and zircon crystals in the center.
The zircon crystals are about 5mm long by 2mm.
