Locality: Upper New Street Quarry (Burger's Quarry), Paterson, Passaic Co., New Jersey, USA

Here we have a very rare Calcite cast after Glauberite from the Upper New Street quarry in Paterson, New Jersey. Collected by Ken Hogan. Casts of Quartz, Prehnite, and Datolite are more common for this locale than Calcite. It measures 2 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches. Specimen #566 of the Eric Stanchich NJ mineral collection.
