Locality: American Tunnel Mine (Gold King Mine), Howardsville, Animas District, San Juan Co., Colorado, USA

Several rhombic crystals of bright pink rhodochrosite with no matrix. Fully crystallized on all sides. Ex. A. Stevenson collection #246. Overall size of mineral specimen: 20x18x14 mm. Size of individual crystals: 5-10 mm.
