Anthonyite : Cu(OH,Cl)₂ · 3H₂O, Goethite : α-Fe³⁺O(OH)

Locality: Villa Hermosa, Sonora, Mexico

Medium blue massive anthonyite with a thin pale blue coating on limonitic gossan. Anthonyite "dehydrates" spontaneously to the light white earthy film, but the film has yet to be characterized. FOV = 8 mm long. Ex Sidney A. Williams
