Locality: Xanda mine (Xandra mine), Virgem da Lapa, Jequitinhonha valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil

Doubly-terminated elbaite tourmaline crystals 11 cm long with 3 mm lavender lepidolite crystals on the side. The specimen was repaired, as is common with long crystals that naturally fracture in the pocket. Color varies from dark green to gray-green. Overall size of mineral specimen: 11x2.5x2 cm. Size of individual crystals: 11 cm.
