Locality: Lake Rotokawa, Taupo, Tongariro, North Island, New Zealand

Sulphur crystals forming in a fumarole which was active and quite hot. Photo taken in 2005 by Don Stanley from a distance of 1 metre using the zoom on the digital camera. Field of view: about 7cm.
