Locality: North Moat Mountain localities, Bartlett, Carroll Co., New Hampshire, USA

Translucent smoky quartz crystal perched on plate of white albite matrix. The color varies from medium smoky at the base to almost colorless at the termination. The back side has a splinter missing. Personally collected in 1994. Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x4x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: 3 cm.
