Locality: Sterling Mine, Sterling Hill, Ogdensburg, Franklin Mining District, Sussex Co., New Jersey, USA
A superb GEMMY, CHERRY-RED crystal of zincite that is 1.4 cm long and ends in an embedded termination. This is a very showy specimen, both fine because it has the good crystal and colorful because of the plate of massive zincite beneath it. 3 x 2.5 x 0.6 cm
