Cyan-blue acicular crystals of Munakataite on blue crystals of Boleite with colorless to pale blue crystals of Leadhillite. The identification of the Munakataite was made on the basis of semi-quantitative WDS analysis for sulfur, and EDS analysis, both performed in late 2008. An earlier identification of this same material as Mammothite has been shown to be in error and was likely due to a mix-up of analysis samples. This occurence represents the first reported instance of a selenium-containing mineral species from the Mammoth-Saint Anthony Mine, and is only the third reported occurrence of Munakataite. The field of view is 1.2 mm. Robert Meyer specimen and photograph.
