6.5 x 5.3 x 2.3 cm. A lovely Quartz specimen from the lesser known Osceola mine in the San Juan Mountains. The yellowish hue is most likely due to some kind of iron oxide, and it appears that is not a coating, but actually is just below the surface of the crystals as they have good luster on the exterior faces. Ex. Jaime Bird Collection.
