Locality: Aguablanca Mine (Agua Blanca Mine), Monesterio, Badajoz, Extremadura, Spain

The Aguablanca nickel deposit is not really being generous in providing specimens for collectors, despite the high expectation aroused among collectors when it started. But in September 2006 the operations went through an area where good specimens of Epidote associated with Garnet, Pyrite, Quartz and Calcite appeared.
This sample is a good representation of this find.

Specimen size: 4.6 × 3.6 × 3.1 cm = 1.8” × 1.4” × 1.2”
Main crystal size: 1.5 × 1.4 cm = 0.6” × 0.6”
