Schalenblende

Locality: Cimetiere quarry, Seilles, Andenne, Namur Province, Belgium

Nicely banded Schalenblende from this unusual locality.
This pieces comes from a single " walk-in " pocket, found in 2007 and is one of the good specimens recovered. Several specimens from this find are acid treated to reveal the surface. This one is not. The specimen has not been polished or cut.
No specimens are likely to be found as the quarry management allows no collectors.
