Locality: Berezovskoe Au Deposit (Berezovsk Mines), Berezovskii (Berezovskii Zavod), Ekaterinburg (Sverdlovsk), Ekaterinburgskaya (Sverdlovskaya) Oblast', Middle Urals, Urals Region, Russia

FOV=4 cm (vertical). One can really appreciate the intense color of crocoite when it is on a white matrix, like this vein quartz. There is a fair amount of damage to this specimen but there are several protected pockets with splendid crystals. Collection and photo, T. Peterson.
