Locality: Koktokay pegmatite field (Keketuohai pegmatite field), Fuyun Co. (Koktokay Co.), Aletai Prefecture (Altay Prefecture), Yili Hasake Autonomous Prefecture (Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture), Xinjiang Autonomous Region, China

Specimen size is approximately 7cm total length. This was purchased as holmquistite. However, analysis has demonstrated that this is a tourmaline.
