I love rhodos and this miniature from Pasto Bueno,Peru has lovely hot pink rhombs that really rank very highly for the locality and also compare favorably to the Sweet Home. The piece really has excellent glassy lustre and can be displayed either vertically or horizontally as desired. This deposit gave up its rhodo treasure back around 1980 and pieces like this have been scarce ever since. No rhombohedral crystals of comparable quality have been found since, either. It also comes now out of a great collection; Gene Meieran's rhodo suite. 4.8 x 3.8 x 2.5 cm
