Locality: Pernatty Lagoon, Mt Gunson, Stuart Shelf area, Andamooka Ranges - Lake Torrens area, South Australia, Australia

Better-known for its green gypsum, this locality also occasionally produces little surprises like this one. Halite cubes perched on the termination of a gypsum crystal. FoV 9mm. Ex Joan Lamond Micro Collection.
