An absolutely exquisite and extremely interesting oldtime Bisbee miniature. It consists of a very sharp, sizeable pseudomorph of malachite after azurite in the center, with superb, sharp and lustrous crystals of deep blue azurite flanking either side of it in a later 2nd generation of growth. Both the malachite pseudomorph and the azurites are all finely-terminated and damage-free, as well as complete all around! Really superb Bisbee pieces are just so darned hard to come by, you have to grab them when you can. THis one , because of teh size of the pseudomorph , the combination of several generations of azurite, and the overall beauty and condition of the piece, I rank VERY highly for a miniature US azurite from any locality. Of course, Bisbee is really the King of old US azurite locales and so that makes it historically special, as well. 4 x 3.5 x 2.3 cm
