Quartz (Var: Rock Crystal), Chlorite Group

Locality: Obersulzbach valley, Hohe Tauern, Salzburg, Austria

One of my favorite alpine specimen, showing a well positioned group of rock crystals light powdered with a thin layer of chlorite,sitting up from "Gneis matrix",complete all around.
A choice and showing grouping from the Schlieferpeak mt. eastslope.
