Bladed crystals to 1mm on clinochlore coated biotite. From the granite surounding the marble. The allenite from the granite was at first Identified as Y rich. And has now been shown to be Ce rich by Pavel Kartashov. Main portion of the agregate is represented by early, high-temperature, Mg- and Ti-rich and completely Y-free mineral with composition (Ca1.17(Ce.41La.23Nd.11Pr.03)0.77Mn.05)2.00((Fe".82Mg.15)0.97Fe"'.04Ti.10Al1.89)3.00Si3.00O12(OH)
Very minor portions are more low-temperature and later, Ti- and Mg-free with <1 wt.% of Y2O3 and composition (Ca1.33(Ce.32La.15Nd.10Y.05).62)2.00(Fe".62Fe"'.04Al2.34)3.00Si3.00O12(OH).
