Lindsleyite

Locality: Kolonkwanen kimberlite prospect, Mackenzie's Post District, Northern Cape Province, South Africa

Two small black patches of lindsleyite, made up of minute grains of the mineral. In a metasomatised peridotite matrix from the kimberlite prospect at Kolonkwanen. The same specimen also contains mathiasite (q.v.)

Field of view ~0.5mm.
