Locality: Kolonkwanen kimberlite prospect, Mackenzie's Post District, Northern Cape Province, South Africa
Small grains of mathiasite in a metasomatised peridotite matrix from the kimberlite prospect at Kolonkwanen. The same specimen also contains lindsleyite (q.v.)

Field of view ~0.8mm.
