Quartz (Var: Citrine)

Locality: Comstock Mine (Yarrow Creek deposit 1), Red Range, Gough Co., New South Wales, Australia

Note: The mineral species Citrine is not listed in our database for this locality. This specimen may be misidentified or the mindat list of minerals at this locality may be incomplete.

A large double terminated Citrine crystal collected from Quartz-Molybdenite pipe in Granite. Although partially etched on the surface, the crystal is quite clear inside. Specimen measures 20cm long x 7cm wide.
