Leadhillite : Pb₄SO₄(CO₃)₂(OH)₂, Linarite : PbCu[(OH)₂|SO₄]

Locality: Grand Reef Mine (Aravaipa Mine; Lead Jewel; Joe Rubal Mine; Vivian Mine; Calistoga Mining & Development Co. Mine; Bringham Silver and Lead Mine), Laurel Canyon, Grand Reef Mountain, Klondyke, Santa Teresa Mts, Aravaipa District, Graham Co., Arizona, USA

A nice sharp, smokey crystal of Leadhillite from the Grand Reef mine in Arizona. On a specimen with good Caledonite crystals and associated Linarite. FOV for this picture is approx. 2mm x 2mm. Obtained from Michael Cline. I rarely see Leadhillite as distinct crystals, not just a cleavage, so I was very happy to find this incidentally on this specimen! Ben Kirchner specimen and photograph.
