A couple of twinned rhombehedral groups of calcite with oxidized goethite in the highly altered orange andesite. The area's also good for siderite roses/stacks with frosty calcite rhombs. The one in front is 3 in. between points. Taken quickly as a mineral rescue operation was underway with the excavator coming 'tomorrow'. end of 2003
