Andradite

Locality: Garnet Hill Mine (Rheona claim), Garnet Hill, Moore Creek - Mokelumne River confluence area, Calaveras Co., California, USA

A 5.0 x 4.0 x 2.4 cm andradite matrix, the top mostly covered by highly lustrous brownish crystals of andradite to 2.3 cm in size. Some contacting around the edges as seen in the photos; overall in good condition damage-wise. Ex Dawn and Jim Minette collection.
