This specimen was exhibited in the "American Mineral Treasures" case for this location at the 2008 Tucson gem and Mineral Show, where it was simply labeled "Diopside".
In addition to the ivory white diopside crystals, there is also (snow white) calcite, minor dark green serpentine, light green vesuvianite crystals, and a light green vesuvianite druze at the top of the specimen.
The overall size is 14 x 9 x 6 cm. Collected in the 1950's. Ex Robert Whitmore. Henry Minot photo & collection.
