Tyuyamunite

The delicate orthorhombic tyuyamunite crystals from the Marie mine are each just under 1.0 mm in their longest dimension. Their morphology ranges from stacks of relatively flat scale-like growths, interpenetrating scales, and crystals which exhibit a hopper-like growth habit.
