Locality: Warwick, Town of Warwick, Orange Co., New York, USA

Corundum, 3cm by 4cm. Joseph Polityka collection. Purchased from Ernie Schlichter in 1994. This specimen comes with an Albert H. Petereit label, 81-83 Fulton Street, New York, New York. Petereit was a late 19th and early 20th century mineral dealer. The label lists a sale price of $2.50! A very rare locality specimen.
