Calcite

Locality: Meikle Mine, Bootstrap District, Elko Co., Nevada, USA

Glassy colorless transparent crystals of calcite, one double terminated and measuring 2.6 cm in length, are covering most of a 5.4 x 4.8 x 2.7 cm matrix. In very good condition damage-wise. Nice example for the species/locality. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.
