Strengite

Locality: Indian Mountain, Cherokee Co., Alabama, USA

Spherical aggregate of strengite, acquired at the 2010 Rochester Mineralogical Symposium. Image is about 4 mm in length. The child photo shows the radiating structure. I'm not sure if the entire sphere is strengite or just the outer layer. Photo and specimen: Steve Stuart.
