Xenotime-(Y)

Locality: Ås, Evje og Hornnes, Aust-Agder, Norway

This specimen consists of a complex grouping of intergrown Xenotime crystals accented by darkly colored Biotite. There are several sharp terminations and complex faces throughout. One side of the specimen shows a broad crystal face with concentric growth rings on it as well. Ex. Ernie Schlichter Collection No. 3.1-071. Specimen size is 2.6cm x 2.4cm x 1.7cm.
