6.9 x 5.8 x 4.1 cm. A showy and excellent cluster of large and sharp, bright, brassy pyrite pseudomorphing marcasite crystals from the famous Nanisivik Iron Mine, above the Arctic Circle, on Baffin Island, Canada. This mine closed in 2002. The incredibly diverse forms of pyrite pseudomorphs are unique to this locality. Complete-all-around, with only modest contacting on the ends. Choice, outstanding material. Ex. Wes Parker Collection.
