Specimen of Calamine, an antiquated name for the Zinc minerals Hemimorphite and Smithsonite. This specimen sports crystals of Hemimorphite and amorphous Sauconite on a decrepit rock matrix. From the Doughty Mine, Sunbury, Augusta Twp., Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, a very old and long abandoned Lead mine. Specimen size: 5 x 3.8cm. From the PA Annex of my personal collection, acquired in 2005.
