Locality: St Egidien, Glauchau, Saxony, Germany

Red plates of hematite embedded in a polished agate geode. The photo is about 2.5 mm in length. The specimen was purchased from a street vendor in Dresden, Germany in March 2003. Photo and specimen: Steve Stuart.
