A very fine cabinet sized example for this species from Kazakhstan! A flattish matrix plate measuring 10.0 x 8.4 x 1.7 cm in size is scattered attractively with flattened pseudo-hexagonal black crystals of sharply formed chalcocite to 1.1 cm in size. The crystals are scattered attractively so that they show off well. Minor crystallized barite in association. The matrix is coated by tiny micro sparkling crystals of colorless quartz. No damage. Ex Peter Gillis collection.
