Locality: Hendersons Quarry, Mt Ngongotaha, Rotorua, Bay of Plenty, North Island, New Zealand

A hexagonal plate of hematite growing around an orange titanite crystal. These minerals occur within a miarolitic cavity lined with tridymite.
