Brucite

Locality: Wood's Chrome Mine (Wood's Mine), Texas, Little Britain Township, State Line Chromite District, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, USA

Well-crystallized, complex brucite crystals. The color is a fine, pale apple green and the crystals are translucent. The lamellar structure is clearly visible in the photos. The brucite fluoresces a bright greenish-blue under long-wave UV. Specimen size is 8.7 x 4.0 x 3.0 cm.
