From a new find (2010), these must be among the very finest examples known for this unusual manganese sulfide! This excellent example shows semi-lustrous black octahedral crystals to 1.7 cm in size mostly covering a 7.0 x 6.7 x 3.0 cm matrix. Very minor rhodochrosite in association. This is in great condition damage-wise. These are huge crystals for this species! Ref: The Mineralogical Record; 28: 37-62.
