Locality: Boekenhoutshoek area (Boekenhouthoek), Mkobola district, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa

Formation amethyst quartz crystals with two distinct generations of crystals. The first is a central crystal 5.5 cm long, with later overgrowth of 2 mm crystals around the central crystals. Very attractive. Overall size of mineral specimen: 5.5x3.5x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: 2-55 mm.
