Wulfenite, Dioptase, Mimetite

Locality: Mammoth-Saint Anthony Mine (Mammoth-St Anthony Mine; Mammoth Mine; St. Anthony Mine), St. Anthony deposit, Tiger, Mammoth District, Pinal Co., Arizona, USA

Featuring highly transparent wulfenites to 1.1 cm, this superb specimen shows a typical Mammoth-St. Anthony mix of prismatic dioptase, orange wulfenite, and golden balls of mimetite. It dates back to at least 1945, when it was sold by Schortmann's minerals at their March sale in New York City. Measures 5.5 x 5.2 cm overall. Collection of Edward Rosenzweig.
